Test Font End User License Agreement

Please read this document carefully. We recommend that you print a copy for further reference.

The test fonts are available from the LettError shop. These fonts have a reduced characterset and have most of the OpenType features removed. Use of the Font Software is limited to testing, inspection, aesthetic evaluation and presentations to a limited audience.

Upon downloading the test fonts, LettError Type will grant you a temporary, non-exclusive terminable License to the Font Software that accompanies this EULA.

However, the test fonts from LettError Type can not be used in any kind of production context. This can mean (but not limited to) mechanicals for print, pdfs for any purpose, ebooks etc.

The test fonts from LettError Type can not be used on the web, in either production or testing environments.

The test fonts can not be used in apps, development or production.

The test fonts can not be included in repositories that are publicly accessible, such as GitHub, GitLab etc.

If you want to test LettError fonts on the web, or in your app, you need to purchase a normal license. This can be a license for a small number of users. The test fonts have been subset and do not contain all the functionality of the regular fonts. Once the web site, app, system, is ready to go live, be published, etc. you need to get a license that is appropriate for the expected number of users.

This End User License Agreement (further referred to as the “Agreement”, “EULA,” “License,” “Agreement”, or “License Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you and Erik van Blokland, doing business under commercial name LettError Type, with a registered business address at Molenstraat 67, 2513BJ The Hague, Netherlands, registered at the Chamber of Commerce Den Haag: 65019636 (further referred to “LettError Type”) and becomes a binding contract between you and LettError Type. This Agreement governs the terms of use of the Font Software and the design of the Fonts embodied therein (collectively, “Font Software”), together with any printed materials, media and electronic documentation, updates, add-ons, artworks, web services, mobile services, and any other material that may be associated with the product now or in the future. This Agreement becomes effective (1) when you click on the area marked “I agree to all terms and conditions of the applicable license agreement(s),” or (2) if you are acquiring Font Software on a compressed archive delivered via e-mail attachment, or a delivery on a CD, DVD, or when you open the package in which the font software is contained. If you do not wish to enter into this Agreement, do not download, install, or access and use the Font Software.
